Workplace SOP Development

We come to your workplace, develop a Lift Plan and a Standard Operating Procedure built specifically around the loads you lift, and deliver the finished documentation within 10 working days.

What You Get

A Lift Plan and SOP built around your actual loads

Generic SOPs don't hold up when the inspector or the incident review asks how it applies to what your crew actually lifts. We visit your workplace, look at the real loads, rigging and equipment involved, and produce documentation written specifically for your operation — not a template with your company name pasted on top.

  • On-site visit reviewing your actual loads, lifts and equipment
  • A step-by-step Lift Plan for the specific loads you lift
  • A workplace-specific Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • Finished documentation delivered within 10 working days
  • Your choice of how your crew gets trained on it — see below

How It Works

From site visit to finished documentation

Five steps, start to finish — no jargon, no guesswork about what happens when.

  1. We visit your workplace

We come to you and observe the lift in its real working environment — not a description of it over email.

  2. We assess hazards, loads and equipment

Every load, sling, attachment point and piece of equipment involved gets looked at directly.

  3. We develop a Lift Plan for your specific loads

A clear, step-by-step plan for how each lift is carried out safely, built around what you actually lift — not a generic template.

  4. We draft the Standard Operating Procedure

A workplace-specific SOP that documents the safe process end to end, ready for your team to follow.

  5. We deliver the finished documentation

Your Lift Plan and SOP, ready to use, within 10 working days of the site visit.

After The Documentation Is Delivered

Two ways to get your crew trained on it

A Lift Plan and SOP only work if your crew actually follows them. Once the documentation is finished, choose whichever option suits your team.

We Come Back & Train Your Crew

We return to your workplace and walk your team through the new SOP directly — talking through the reasoning behind it, not just handing over a document and leaving. Ideal if you want everyone trained consistently, in one visit, by the person who wrote it.

We Hand It Over & You Train Your Team

We hand over the finished Lift Plan and SOP, and your own supervisors or trainers deliver it in-house on your own timeline. Ideal if you'd rather roll it into your existing induction or toolbox-talk process yourself.

What a simple Load Lifting SOP looks like

Below is a basic, generic example SOP for load slinging — showing the kind of structure a real one includes: a hazards-and-controls table, load-by-load slinging procedures with photos, and a worker sign-off page. You're more than welcome to download it and use it as an example or an idea for what a simple Load Lifting SOP might look like, whether or not you go on to have RIG360 build the real thing for your workplace.
